How "Untact Marketing" is Going to Affect Your Shopping Experience

How "Untact Marketing" is Going to Affect Your Shopping ExperienceWhat is “Untact Marketing”?

What in the world is “untact marketing”? I know, it doesn’t even sound like proper English!

Well, I just heard about this new marketing method, if it can even be called that, on Arirang news.

“Untact” marketing is the union of the prefix “un-,” meaning “not,” and the shortened form of “contact.” Together it means “no contact.” As in, don’t contact me while I’m shopping.

It’s for the person who doesn’t like to talk with sales people while they’re out shopping. [Read more…]

Traveler Beware_ Electronics in South Korea are MORE expensiveTraveler Beware: Electronics in South Korea are more expensive

If you’re planning a trip to South Korea, be sure you have every electronic you may need, and all the back up batteries and memory cards for them. Because you will seriously go broke buying any of that in South Korea.

It seems like electronics should be cheaper there because it’s such a wired country (they’re one of the world’s most wired countries for internet, if not the most) and it is home to big brands such as Samsung and LG. But not so. Electronics can be twice as expensive there! [Read more…]

Pucca is a South Korean animated cartoon little girl. (Just in case you landed here out of sheer curiosity.)

She’s tough and sweet and even has a ninja boyfriend, albeit he’s reluctantly so.

I first found out about Pucca because she was on some colored pens. It appears that’s how many people find out about her. Because she’s on everything from pens to sunscreen!

Pucca’s life is action packed, as most cartoons are, and is animated adorably.

And even though Pucca never hit it big, she’s made a lasting impression on many, including myself!

If you know someone who’s a Pucca fan, they’re going to flip over these gifts! [Read more…]

What To Get The Crazy Cat Person In Your LifeWhat To Get The Crazy Cat Person In Your Life – A Gift Guide

But first let’s ponder “what makes a person a ‘crazy’ cat person?”

Is it the number of cats they have?

Is it how they talk about their cats like their babies?

Or perhaps, when their life revolves around their cats (notice that’s plural) which makes them late to dinners, movies, and any other get together? [Read more…]

Okay, so if you’re here, then you must know a child who likes Pororo and know who Pororo is.

But for those of you who stumbled here wondering “What in the world is a ‘Pororo?’…. Pororo is a Korean computer animated cartoon featuring an adorable penguin (Pororo) and his equally adorable friends. They all live in Porong Porong Forest, most often covered in snow, where they have all kinds of adventures.

What’s really great about this cartoon is that it teaches moral lessons like being kind, forgiveness, selflessness, etc. But in a fun way that kids would understand.

Plus, they have adult-like activities (i.e. flying and driving) but these animals are definitely children in speech and size. So they are still relatable. Okay, I love Pororo too!

So for those who love Pororo, here are some great gift ideas! [Read more…]
