The Best Pororo Gifts for Kids

Okay, so if you’re here, then you must know a child who likes Pororo and know who Pororo is.

But for those of you who stumbled here wondering “What in the world is a ‘Pororo?’…. Pororo is a Korean computer animated cartoon featuring an adorable penguin (Pororo) and his equally adorable friends. They all live in Porong Porong Forest, most often covered in snow, where they have all kinds of adventures.

What’s really great about this cartoon is that it teaches moral lessons like being kind, forgiveness, selflessness, etc. But in a fun way that kids would understand.

Plus, they have adult-like activities (i.e. flying and driving) but these animals are definitely children in speech and size. So they are still relatable. Okay, I love Pororo too!

So for those who love Pororo, here are some great gift ideas!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Pororo & His Friends Jumbo Airplane – This toy plane fits Pororo and nine of his buddies. And it has 30 songs! Kids will have a ball pretending that their going on a trip with Pororo!

Pororo Heavy Equipment Play Toy Car – My three year old son loves these because he’s into anything that has wheels. (That’s why he’s transitioning from Pororo to Tayo. But that’s another post.) There’s a cement mixer truck, excavator, and a dump truck. And they can go by themselves if you pull them back to wind them up. The kids are going to love watching them go!

Pororo & Friends Toy Car – Maybe your kid isn’t into heavy machinery. That’s no problem because here’s a set with Loopy in a car, Eddy in a train, and Pororo in his plane.

Pororo & Friends 12 Minicar Set – If the small car sets are just not enough, check this out. It’s 12 kinds of Pororo cars! There’s even an ambulance, excavator, cement mixer truck, and two fire engine trucks.

Pororo Kid Library (Korean Edition) – These teeny board books are great for easing them into learning Korean. Board books are great for babies and toddlers who tend to be rough with books.

Pororo Coloring Book – Don’t expect them to stay within the lines or anything. But you can expect them to have fun scribbling away “with” Pororo and his friends.

Twistables Pororo 12 Color Crayons – And don’t forget the crayons! Aren’t twistable crayons great? No annoying paper to unwrap, which is impossible to do without getting crayon crud under your nails. Here’s a 12 color set to go along with that Pororo coloring book above!

Pororo & Friends Bath Toy (6 pieces) – Much like meal time, bath time for many children requires some convincing or coaxing. These bath buddies help to do that – “Want to take a bath with Pororo?” “Your friends are waiting.” These mind games totally work!…Usually.

Yes, it’s more extravagant than anything else on this list, except for the learning laptop, but then again, it’s rather unique with a lot of details. It’s about 17 inches tall and comes with grocery items. It even has a vegetable storage drawer!
The Little Penguin Pororo [Smart Pororo] Singing and Waddle Waddle Dancing Toy – Who needs you Tickle Me Elmo! This Pororo doll sings, flaps his wings, and waddles! It reacts to clapping or voices! How awesome is that? (I’m just kidding Elmo. I love you and Sesame Street too!)

Pororo Learning Time

Pororo Little Future Book & Play Pen Set for Creative Learning and Study – This learning pen is nothing short of amazing. You touch the pen to something on the page and it knows what it is. It’s a fantastic way for a kid, or an adult, to learn Korean. Here’s a video of how it works, although it’s in Korean.
Pororo Korean and English Learning Toy Laptop for Kids – Now, this is an extravagant gift. Not only is a learning laptop for English, but also for Korean! They can learn letters, words, and numbers. There are even games that encourage brain development! Never mind the kids! I want this for me!

Pororo Meal Time

Pororo Kids Backpack with Safety Wrist Strap – At first I thought this was just another cartoon character backpack. But check this out! It has a wrist strap for the parent to wear so that the backpack becomes a safety harness. I love this safety feature! I can just snap the wrist strap on the bottom of his backpack when we’re in crowded places. (Plus, my kid is super fast and likes to wander off. 🙄)

Pororo Stainless Steel Fork & Spoon Set – I can’t get enough child sized spoons and forks. The weight and size of adult eating utensils is just not kid-friendly. And if you have a picky eater, that’s all the worse! So putting their favorite cartoon character on their spoons and forks helps entice them to sit and eat. It’s like “hey, come and eat with Pororo,” or “Pororo would like you to eat your peas.” I’m telling you it works!

Pororo Training Chopsticks for Right-Handed Children (Stainless Steel) – Are these not the cutest chopsticks you’ve ever seen? My son loves these chopsticks! He would eat soup with these if he could. (It’s hilarious to watch him try though. 😂) Just like with the spoon and fork set above, Pororo makes eating time more fun! All of the Pororo characters have chopsticks. But these are the only stainless steel ones I know of. Because they’re made of stainless steel, they don’t get nasty grooves in them like the plastic ones do from my son gnawing on it.

Pororo & Friends 3D Placement (Set of 2) – Still in the same vein as the eating utentils, these placemats round out meal time with Pororo and friends. Any parent knows how important it is to have a kid’s eating surface that’s easy to clean.

Pororo Kids Toothbrushes (2 piece set) – No meal is complete unless it’s followed up with a good toothbrushing in my book! And toothbrushing, just like for eating, bathing, and sleeping…basically anything that isn’t playing, requires persuasion. Once again, Pororo can help!
